Trusted Conservative Leader
Traci Crockett is a Republican candidate for Salt Lake County Council District 5 and a longtime south Salt Lake County community leader. She is running on a platform of conservative leadership, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and accountable local government.
Crockett grew up in a large family where hard work, responsibility, and service to others were central values. She and her husband have been married for 26 years, and those same values have shaped her commitment to family, community, and public service.
A Bluffdale resident for 15 years, Crockett has served two terms on the Bluffdale City Council. During that time, she has worked on many of the issues that directly affect local families and neighborhoods, including growth, infrastructure, public safety, and budgets. Her experience in local government gives her a practical understanding of how county decisions affect everyday life.
District 5 is one of the fastest-growing areas in Salt Lake County, and its residents deserve representation that understands both the opportunities and the challenges that come with that growth. Crockett’s supporters believe the district needs experienced, conservative leadership that will stand up for the south end of the county and make sure its concerns are heard.
Her campaign emphasizes common-sense budgeting, accountability in county government, and a focus on core services. She has publicly emphasized that people work hard for what they earn and that government should spend taxpayer dollars carefully, efficiently, and transparently. The focus, according to her public platform, is on responsible budgeting, reviewing programs for waste and duplication, and delivering services without unnecessary government growth. This closely reflects the tax and spending themes on her issues page.
Traci Crockett is seeking the support of District 5 voters who want experienced leadership, conservative principles, and a stronger voice for their communities in county government.
